What if a solar system had no planets left, just the wreckage?
At the center of this star system sits a collapsed core, a black hole or a neutron star, rolled fresh each time you land here, using the same horizon and accretion disk math the main generator uses for real stellar death. Every so often it rolls twice: two cores locked in a slow, decaying orbit around each other, the kind of pair that eventually spirals in and merges.
Orbiting that wreckage: ten to twenty things that have no business being in a normal system at all. Wormholes, megastructures, sleeping leviathans, crystal formations, monoliths, derelict probes, comets on their last pass, interstellar objects just passing through, rogue planets with no star to call home, and once in a while, a second black hole hiding among them.
